How to eat them
Soak 2–3 anjeer overnight in half a cup of water and eat them in the morning. They are also good simmered in warm milk, sliced over oats, or blended into barfi with no added sugar.

No. They are sun-dried figs with nothing added: no sulphur, no sugar, no preservatives. A light white bloom on the skin is the fig's own sugar.
How long do they stay fresh?
Up to 12 months sealed in a cool, dry place. After opening, keep them in an airtight jar in the fridge and they stay soft for weeks.
